Set on the mythical world of Tienne Earth, Mortal Half is a fantasy webcomic following the trials and tribulations of a mysterious young woman named Mirra, the bearer of a cursed blade, and the unique individuals she meets throughout the course of her adventures. Expect a mix of action, comedy and romance if you decide to give my comic a go!
Mortal Half currently updates every Tuesday and Thursday.
You can help the comic get more exposure by subscribing to us on the following webcomic directories: Piperka The Belfry Ink Outbreak. Alternatively, you can give us your vote on the TWC Leaderboards. You can also help out by making use of the little Share buttons located at the top of each page.

The first few chapters are kind of rough, even after multiple edits. For several years I lost interest in drawing, so it was a bit of a struggle getting back on track. Personally, I feel the artwork starts getting much better past Chapter 2. Mortal Half is kind of a learning process for me, so don’t be surprised if the artwork varies from time to time!
The text/dialogue, particularly in the earlier chapters, is constantly being edited, rephrased and reworked as I see fit. I’m looking forward to the day I can finally stop trolling myself.
Originally titled A Legend of Jeie (*snort*), Mortal Half is based on an EPIC idea that was conceived wayyyyy back in the 90’s, when I was just a wee student. Over the years it has gone through a number of plot changes, although the characters themselves have stayed roughly the same. I developed the original concept for ALOJ in junior college, not long after I started to “draw manga seriously”. The “retro” version of Mortal Half was hosted on a online manga site that was fairly popular at the time, but for the life of me I can’t remember what it was called. At some point I decided to turn the story into a novel, but then the whole process died in a GIANT FIRE.
Fast forward about a decade or so, and I’m now working to turn Mortal Half back into a webcomic, which is the format it was originally intended for.
I’m originally from Singapore. I graduated from a local design school in 2002(I think), after which I spent several years jet-setting about the globe in search of inspiration , as well as playing far, far too much World of Warcraft. Eventually, I quit my job as a flight attendant to study abroad. I have since graduated, and am the proud owner of a somewhat redundant Associates Degree in Foodservice Management… I think that sheet of paper’s still lying around here somewhere.
Currently I live in Rochester, New York, with my husband and adopted furball.
